(LAQueP-LInc) in partnership with Ce-Logic will be having a free webinar on “Quezon Librarians Embracing the New Normal: Raising Mental Health Awareness and Delivering Effective Library Services Amidst the Pandemic” on September 11, 2020 (Friday), 8am to 12nn via Zoom.
The objectives of this webinar are to: provide information on what librarians can do to raise mental health awareness for a better normal and provide a virtual venue where librarians can share their best practices for the new normal.

On Becoming a Mentally Health and Gender-Sensitive Librarian: A Gender-Responsive Mental Health Forum
The Librarians Association of Quezon Province-Lucena Inc. (LAQueP-LInc) will be having a one-day Forum on “On Becoming a Mentally Healthy and Gender-Sensitive Librarian: A Gender-Responsive Mental Health Forum” on March 27, 2020 at the Saint Anne College, Lucena City.
The objectives of the forum is to be able to provide library personnel knowledge in preventing and managing mental health problems; and gender responsive.
Target participants will be librarians, library staff, and paraprofessionals working in the library.
Registration is FREE for those active members who are in good standing and had paid their annual dues from 2017-2019. However, members are encouraged to renew their membership for 2020. There will be a registration fee of Php 300.00 for new members and those who have not completed the payment for 3-year annual dues. Registration fee will include lunch, AM and PM snacks and certificate of attendance/participation.

Librarians Association of Quezon Province-Lucena, Inc. (LAQueP-LInc) in partnership with LIB.COM
will be conducting ZUMBOOK (a ZUMBA DANCE as book drive for libraries
damaged by calamities and help communities build libraries in Quezon
Province. The objective of this project is to generate books and other
instructional materials to encourage citizens help build libraries in
public schools, municipal and community libraries. It will be held on
November 24, 2019, 6:00 AM at Quezon Convention Center, Lucena City.
