RDA: Introduction and Workshop

In celebration of its 7^th year anniversary, the Librarians Association of Quezon Province-Lucena Inc. (LAQueP-LInc) have arranged a Seminar-Workshop on “RDA: Introduction and Workshop” to be held at Queen Margaretter Hotel Downtown, Lucena City on September 06. 2013.

This workshop is designed for librarians, school librarians, library personnel,   library assistants, and para-professionals working in the library.

In this regard, we cordially invite you to this activity. The following objectives are anticipated to be achieved:

1. To provide introductory concepts on the key features and structure of Resource Description and Access;
2. To teach the participants on how to transcribe/record elements of manifestations and items using the new rules as prescribed in RDA; and
3. To inform participants on the importance of RDA and issues leading to it.

Registration fee is Php 600.00 for members and Php 700.00 for non-members to cover the seminar kits, certificates and food. An optional fee of Php 100.00 for those who are interested to be a member for 2013. We will strictly implement One Hundred (100) participants only.
